Title: "Behind the Scenes"
Scripture:
"And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose."— Romans 8:28 (NASB95)
There’s a story about a tapestry hanging in a museum. From the front, it was a masterpiece — full of color, depth, and beauty. But behind it? A tangled mess of threads. If you only saw the back, you’d think there was no pattern, no order, no meaning.
Life feels like that sometimes — especially on a Thursday.
You're past the beginning, but not yet at the end. You’ve been faithful, but you don’t see results. The threads of your week feel tangled. But God is working on the other side. While we see the knots, He sees the design.
Romans 8:28 isn’t saying everything that happens is good. It’s saying God can take everything — even the hard, confusing, painful stuff — and weave it into something good for those who love Him. Even when you don’t understand the pattern, you can trust the One holding the needle.
So today, keep going. Keep trusting. The picture isn’t finished yet. But God’s purpose is still unfolding — one thread, one moment, one Thursday at a time.
Prayer:
"Lord, when I don’t see what You’re doing, help me trust that You’re still working. Remind me that You’re weaving something beautiful out of every piece of my life — even the parts that don’t make sense. I place it all in Your hands today. In Jesus’ name, Amen."
